Season Four
Episode 97
What I Learned While Creating Virtual Lesson Plans
At the time I am recording this we are on day three of virtual teaching. We've had a soft start with Zoom calls with advisory students and preparing for the launch of our full schedule of classes today. I feel as though I've grown in extraordinary ways outside of what I would have felt if I'd returned to the classroom as usual after spring break.
Three things I have taken away from the planning I have done for online teaching:
*Juggling different schedules for the girls while trying to feed them (oven on a little long?)
*Making a list of all the things I've learned
*Start with one tool (I began with screencast-omatic on Schoology)

What I Learned While Creating Virtual Lesson Plans
At the time I am recording this we are on day three of virtual teaching. We've had a soft start with Zoom calls with advisory students and preparing for the launch of our full schedule of classes today. I feel as though I've grown in extraordinary ways outside of what I would have felt if I'd returned to the classroom as usual after spring break.
Three things I have taken away from the planning I have done for online teaching:
1) I can do hard things and make the best of them
*Screencast-omatic*Juggling different schedules for the girls while trying to feed them (oven on a little long?)
*Making a list of all the things I've learned
2) You're not failing if you're trying
*There's a lot of grace needed for ourselves and for others3) We will be better for this
I've used so many online tools that I had wanted to learn more about, but didn't have the time to spend on them. Now it's been almost a forced meet-cute of me and these new online tools. They've come into my life and I am getting more proficient at them as we go along.*Start with one tool (I began with screencast-omatic on Schoology)
